According to NLR city planning engineer Robert Voyles the city still plans to turn the intersection of N Hills Blvd and Waterside into an exit from AR 67.

Should traffic exiting from AR 67 and emptying out to a Water side/N Hills Blvd intersection proceed I predict that Waterside, Avondale, East H, Idlewild will turn into a cut through to get to JFK.

Lakewood residents accustomed to the tranquil setting of Waterside should see this as a threat to that environment.
